Silos to Synergy: Building a Culture of Recruitment
Presenter: Reena Lichtenfeld, Senior Vice President, RNL
At many community colleges, enrollment work happens behind the scenes, often disconnected and driven by tasks instead of people. In this session, we’ll explore how to shift that dynamic. We’ll talk about moving from isolated efforts to shared ownership of recruitment. You’ll hear real campus examples of what it looks like when departments come together with a common goal, and how that shift can change outcomes. We’ll look at what gets in the way, what drives progress, and how to take practical steps toward building a culture where everyone plays a role in supporting students from interest to enrollment. Expect conversation, a few uncomfortable truths, and a clear path forward.
2:00 – 3:00 PM
Campus Colleague Panel Discussion
Hear from colleagues that have moved the needle on their campuses with strategies that supported both recruitment, persistence and workforce objectives.
3:15 – 4:15 PM

Presenter: Reena Lichtenfeld, Senior Vice President, RNL
In this interactive roundtable session, participants will engage in focused conversations about how community and technical colleges can begin to shift from transactional operations to a shared culture of recruitment and enrollment. Through guided prompts, attendees will reflect on barriers, surface bright spots, and share strategies for fostering collaboration across campus functions. The goal: generate practical, people-centered ideas that can be applied immediately, no matter your institution’s size or staffing.
4:15 – 4:45 PM
