Special focus on today's diverse freshmen at four-year and two-year institutions

Report cover for 2015 National Freshman Attitudes ReportDownload this annual report (below) from Ruffalo Noel Levitz to explore 85 non-cognitive attitudes and motivations that influence undergraduate retention and college completion. The report compiles student survey responses from a sizable sample of incoming freshmen in 2014.

Today's diverse freshmen are the focus of this year’s report. The report identifies key contrasts in the attitudes of incoming first-generation vs. non-first-generation freshmen, as well as differences by age, race, gender, and institution type (two-year institutions vs. four-year private institutions vs. four-year public institutions).

The report is based on student survey responses to the College Student Inventory, Form B, a non-cognitive, motivational assessment that is part of Noel-Levitz’s Retention Management System Plus™.
