The Future of Philanthropy: An Open Discussion

Donor motivation is changing. And, new causes and new modes of giving make keeping up as a fundraiser challenging. We’ll discuss the key ways we’re listening to our supporters, focusing on pipeline to greater giving, what’s worked to engage donors today, and how we can all adapt, even with limited resources.

Moving the Needle on Alumni Giving: What works?

We’re moving past “participation” to realize that giving is an experience. In this session, we’ll share key examples of how institutions have changed their outreach and set records even amidst the pandemic. Learn what a three-year project to transform young alumni engagement taught us, along with the largest survey ever of over 40,000 young alumni. And, hear from peers about what’s working as we engage multiple generations in the joy of giving.

We’ll share some of the key shifts, what’s working, and how you can harness all this new technology in a meaningful and efficient way. How do we do more than “adopt” and actually serve donors with this new technology? In this session, we’ll go beyond the buzzwords and hear how it actually works in practice.
