Kim Myrick, PhD

Dr. Kim Myrick joined RNL in February 2012 and currently serves as vice president and senior consultant.

With more than 25 years of direct experience in admission, financial aid, staff development, retention, website development, and institutional marketing, Kim is passionate about institutional and student success. While on campus, Kim worked alongside fundraising management and marketing colleagues to achieve institutional goals.

Kim completed her BA at the University of Tulsa and then began her career as an admission counselor at TU. Moving to the University of Denver as assistant director of admission, she also managed on campus events and coordinated scholarships and aid for new students. Kim completed her MA in Human Communication studies at the University of Denver. Moving to Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, Colorado, Kim served as director of undergraduate admission. She was promoted to vice president for enrollment at CCU, overseeing undergraduate admission, adult degree completion programs on four campuses, financial aid, and marketing.

At LaGrange College in LaGrange, Georgia, Kim supervised admission and financial aid. Joining University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas, as vice president for enrollment management, Kim supervised admission, financial aid, and the university website. During Kim’s tenure, and using RNL modeling, search and qualification programs, Ozarks experienced significant growth in the number of applications and the completion rate. In one-year, new first year student enrollment increased by more than 30 percent. Through the successful implementation of a constituent relationship management system, the admission staff was able to manage growth without increasing staffing levels.

As a lifelong learner, Kim completed doctoral studies with a dissertation related to leadership in higher education and the successful implementation of a strategic plan to improve student persistence.  Kim continues to study leadership, team building, and communication strategies, as well as trends in higher education.

Partnering with public and private institutions across the United States as an RNL senior consultant for more than ten years, Kim brings a wealth of knowledge to each campus engagement.  She looks forward to working alongside campus enrollment and fundraising leaders to drive strategic performance improvement across all revenue streams.

Kim’s office is in Arkansas where she lives with her husband, Danny, and their family.
