Previous campus experience
Prior to joining Ruffalo Noel Levitz, Mr. Huus served as the vice president for enrollment management at Columbia College (SC) where he was responsible for the offices of undergraduate admissions, graduate/adult admissions, financial aid, and varsity athletics (NAIA). He has also served as the chief enrollment officer for institutions in Pennsylvania and Virginia. During his tenure in Virginia, he was responsible for helping the college grow the size of the incoming class 45 percent while simultaneously reducing the tuition discount rate. He also led a complete redesign of the college’s family of publications and created a new, strategic communication flow. At each new institution, the size of the incoming class has increased over the year prior; and in 19 of his 21 recruitment cycles, the size of the current incoming class has been larger than the year before.
Mr. Huus received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Earlham College (IN), and his MBA with a focus in quality and process improvement from Miami University (OH).
