Eric Billings is a passionate fundraising professional with just over a decade of industry experience, including major gift fundraising, planned giving, and annual giving. He has focused a majority of his career exploring innovative and creative ways to engage constituents through digital strategies, including crowdfunding, giving days, stewardship, and donor communication. Eric provides leadership for RNL’s digital platforms, including AI-driven chatbots, crowdfunding, personal education funding and giving days.
Previous Experience
Previously, Eric served as the director of annual giving at the University of Idaho, where he successfully launched their first three Vandal Giving Day campaigns in addition to launching a university-wide, digital stewardship strategy. Prior to that role, he was a major gifts officer at the University of Idaho for the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and the College of Engineering. Eric also started his career with RNL as a caller at the University of Idaho in 2005 and program center manager for both California State University, Fresno, and Washington State University.
Education
Eric received his Bachelors of Science in Public Relations from the University of Idaho.
