Aaron’s work at Trinity included developing and executing a strategic recruitment plan and revolutionizing the campus visit and event strategy, which involved the creation of a student leadership conference that drew a record number of guests to campus. Aaron also started a blog centered around access and affordability in higher education and presented original content at more than 75 locations in six years. He was also heavily involved in financial aid strategies, marketing, and strategic planning while at Trinity.
Aaron’s passion and commitment to higher education extends to the classroom. He holds a master’s degree in higher education from the University of Dayton (OH) and a PhD in higher education from Azusa Pacific University (CA). His dissertation was a phenomenological study of executive college leaders who successfully navigated receiving a vote of no confidence from their faculty. During his doctoral program, Aaron also conducted research on student success and the role of curiosity in high-achieving students.
Aaron is a frequent writer for University Business magazine and presents regularly at conferences for the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU), ACT, and NACCAP.
