As Senior Vice President, Sarah Coen leads the consulting team and serves on the senior leadership team for RNL. Her 30-year career in higher education spans the enrollment, student success, and fundraising sectors. She is especially adept at building customer-centric teams who are equipped to manage the critical changes needed on college campuses today.
Ms. Coen has served over 150 institutions in the United States and Canada during her consulting career with Ruffalo Noel Levitz, including small and large four-year private, two-year public, and four-year public institutions. In addition, she has worked with system-level projects, college presidents, executive teams, and boards of trustees. Her primary areas of focus are annual and strategic plan development, change management, fiscal health attainment, public speaking, and staff development. She is passionate about higher education and mentoring young professionals entering the field.
Ms. Coen has presented at numerous state and national conferences and also authored a chapter in the RNL Strategic Enrollment Planning book. As a former Division 1 athlete, she is a natural team player and a competitor at heart. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Oxford, OH and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan University.
