With experience as a strategic planner in marketing, advancement, and institutional research, Shay Galto is passionate about analyzing donor, student, and influencer populations and assisting clients in developing relevant and authentic marketing messages. She consults directly with institutions on recruitment research, fundraising research, integrated marketing, and branding strategy.
With a particular interest in higher education engagement and messaging to students, families, and donors, Shay’s areas of expertise include the predictive modeling of inquiries, applicants, and donors; financial aid modeling and analysis; and marketing analytics. She conducts quantitative and qualitative research including national surveys, on-campus interviews, and focus groups. Shay has a particular passion for data visualization for universal understanding. Shay is currently the project lead on the Schuler Foundation’s Recent Alumni National Survey.
Prior to joining RNL, Shay led analytics initiatives throughout multiple administrative sectors at both public and private institutes of higher education. Most recently she comes from the University of Denver (CO) where she led the marketing analytics initiatives. Under her leadership, DU applied data-informed changes to their marketing materials.
Shay holds an MA from Northern Illinois University.
