Dr. Raquel Bermejo analyzes existing search, inquiry, and conversion data in addition to conducting original research with college-seeking students and parents to understand trends and student behaviors. Her research informs and enhances the services the company provides.
Raquel received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in linguistics from the Universidad de Salamanca (Salamanca, Spain), where she graduated summa cum laude. She went on to receive a master’s degree in education from Ashland University (OH), a certificate in educational leadership from the University of South Florida, and a doctorate in education from Argosy University (FL).
Raquel taught Spanish (K-12) for 10 years, most recently at the Sarasota School of Arts and Sciences in Florida, where she also served as foreign language chair and worked closely with administrators to develop, implement, and evaluate the school’s language curriculum. She received the Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year award in 1998 for excellence in teaching and service to the community.
Raquel has been actively involved as a volunteer with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation since 2002, receiving a special tribute from the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for the “most creative fundraising idea.” She brings to RNL the unmatched problem-solving, communications, and analytic skills she has developed over a career dedicated to working with educators and students.
