Why do college students choose the campuses where they enroll? Two reports from Noel-Levitz examine the factors that influence the enrollment choices of college students:
- Why Did They Enroll? The Factors Influencing College Choice, examines data from 55,000 traditional college students.
- The Factors Influencing College Choice Among Nontraditional Students examines enrollment factors among 22,000 adult and online learners.
The traditional-college student report includes breakdowns by institution type, including four-year public,four-year private, two-year public, and career schools. Both reports also exmaine differences among students at their first-choice institution and those attending their second- or third-choice institution.
