2012 Factors to Enroll Reports

An examination of why students chose their current college campuses

This report examines the factors that led college students to enroll at their current campuses.Why do college students choose the campuses where they enroll? Two reports from Noel-Levitz examine the factors that influence the enrollment choices of college students:

  • Why Did They Enroll? The Factors Influencing College Choice, examines data from 55,000 traditional college students.
  • The Factors Influencing College Choice Among Nontraditional Students examines enrollment factors among 22,000 adult and online learners.

The traditional-college student report includes breakdowns by institution type, including four-year public,four-year private, two-year public, and career schools. Both reports also exmaine differences among students at their first-choice institution and those attending their second- or third-choice institution.
