Michael Ritter

Michael Ritter brings over 20 years of experience in enrollment management, including oversight of traditional, graduate, and online recruiting, as well as financial aid and institutional marketing. In his leadership role at RNL, he propels the success of RNL partners with data-driven strategy, with a focus on meeting key institutional goals with high return on investment. His areas of expertise include strategic planning and execution, staff training, and statistical analysis.

Previous Experience 

Dr. Ritter previously served in multiple roles at the cabinet level at Greenville College (IL), including vice president for enrollment and vice president for marketing and institutional effectiveness. While giving strategic oversight to enrollment and marketing efforts, he was also responsible for leading strategic initiatives across other areas of the organization, including institutional research, academic program prioritization and cost analysis, finance, and human resources. While he oversaw enrollment at Greenville, the college brought in the largest new classes in the history of the institution. He was also involved in the community while serving at Greenville College, serving for more than four years on the board of directors of the local chamber of commerce, and twice being elected to serve as president of that organization.

Dr. Ritter is an adjunct faculty member in the Briner School of Business at Greenville College, teaching graduate level courses in strategic marketing, research methods, and statistics. He has presented at regional and national conferences on topics related to enrollment and marketing.

Education

Dr. Ritter earned a DBA in marketing from Anderson University (IN), an MBA in finance from the University of Illinois, and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Greenville College (IL).
