Charles Ramos is a veteran of higher education, with 20 years of experience as an enrollment professional and consultant. His areas of expertise cover enrollment management, student success initiatives, and academic advising, including data-driven enrollment planning. Mr. Ramos has consulted for Ruffalo Noel Levitz for 6 years, successfully serving about 50 institutions in the role of recruitment and predictive modeling consultant, as well as team leading some of RNLs larger partnerships.
Previously, Mr. Ramos served at ACT, Inc., most recently as their director of outreach services, consulting with campuses on enrollment, advising, and assessment initiatives. Mr. Ramos especially worked with his campus partners on using data and research to inform their decision making. He also presented to state executive and legislative branches on current educational policies, trends, and assessment-based research to strengthen statewide educational policies.
Prior to his tenure at ACT, Mr. Ramos served at St. Louis University (MO) as the assistant director of admissions. He coordinated and implemented the recruitment plans, managed the student recruitment staff, and supervised admissions counselors. His efforts helped the university exceed their enrollment goals by 8 percent during his tenure.
Mr. Ramos received his bachelor's degree and an MA in Higher Education Administration from St. Louis University.
