Cutler AndrewsCutler Andrews is a fundraising management professional with extensive experience in annual giving, major giving, alumni relations, and multichannel donor engagement campaigns. His expertise covers the fields of higher education, healthcare fundraising, and community-based nonprofit fundraising. At his core Cutler is committed to upending the normative behavior and antiquated strategies that have been driving a decline in donors across the higher education sector. When not on a campus Cutler can be found devouring articles, research papers, and books on innovations in customer experience, sales and marketing, organizational structure and culture, management, and market disruption. He believes that the new successful path forward is through the combination of successful strategies in both higher education and the private sector.

Currently, Cutler leads the RNL Fundraising Consulting group, working with organizations to propel their constituent engagement and fundraising results.

Cutler has also worked directly with a hundreds of campuses and nonprofit organizations on their fundraising strategy. He has provided high-level consultation on annual giving, prospect research, donor stewardship, leadership giving, and major gift program development.

Prior to coming to Ruffalo Noel Levitz, Cutler served as the director of major gifts at North Carolina Children's Hospital in Chapel Hill. Before that position, he served as the director of alumni affairs and the annual fund at the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health. His efforts led to a 124 percent increase in overall dollars for annual giving and a 15 percent increase in donors during a single fiscal year. Cutler began his career as the development director at the Orange County Rape Crisis Center in Chapel Hill.


Culter holds an MBA and a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and current resides in Durham, NC.
