Baworowsky offers more than 30 years of experience combining his skills in enrollment management and public relations into effective direct mail, publications, marketing, writing, and financial aid strategies. He has served as a vice president at a total of five institutions and has both U.S. and international experience. He is currently vice provost for enrollment management at Marquette University (WI).

Previously, Dr. Baworowsky served as vice president for enrollment management at Westminster College in Utah and, before that, as vice president for enrollment management student services at the American College of Greece (ACG), the largest and oldest private university in Europe. There he was responsible for managing the recruitment and retention of first-year and transfer students within Greece, the United States, and other countries. He also served as the chief student affairs officer, overseeing the offices of student activities, registrar, academic advising, and career services.

Dr. Baworowsky has also served as vice president for enrollment management at Hood College (MD) where he worked with the admission staff to enroll the largest class in the school's history while reducing their tuition discount rate. As vice president for enrollment and academic services at Saint Louis University (MO), Dr. Baworowsky led the institution to a 15 percent increase in freshmen while reducing the tuition discount rate by three percentage points, increasing net revenue by over $4,000 per student. He merged the financial aid office and the bursar's office into a one-stop financial operation and brought new technologies to the admission office that increased student search response rates from 2.3 percent to 14 percent. Dr. Baworowsky was also vice president for enrollment and student affairs at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he led a 57 percent increase in students and achieved a significant increase in net revenue per student, all while increasing IIT's academic profile. Before that, he was vice president for admission and financial aid at North Park University (IL). Over a seven-year period, he played an instrumental role in North Park's 41 percent increase in first-year students and four-point increase in average ACT scores. He has also served as director of public relations at Aurora University (IL) and Benedictine University (IL).

He has also been a columnist for The Chronicle of Higher Education and, most recently, a contributor to AACRAO's Strategic Enrollment Management Journal.


Dr. Baworowsky received his master's degree from the University of Miami (FL) and his PhD from St. Louis University.
