Chris FontaineChris Fontaine consults for Ruffalo Noel Levitz from his position as associate vice president of global enrollment services at LeTourneau University (TX). He has 20 years of experience as a higher education professional, with expertise in enrollment management, student services, retention, and marketing initiatives for adult, graduate, and online students.

In his current role, Mr. Fontaine provides strategic leadership for online, nontraditional/adult, and off-campus enrollment for undergraduate/graduate admissions and academic advising. His responsibilities include developing communication plans, web-based marketing, persistence/retention strategies, and enrollment and revenue forecasting.

Previously at LeTourneau, Mr. Fontaine served as the assistant vice president of enrollment and marketing, during which time the division recruited approximately 750 new students each year and recaptured 200 former students each year. Prior to that, as the director of enrollment management, he led the development of a partnership with Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation.

Before joining LeTourneau, Mr. Fontaine was an enrollment representative for adult degree programs at the Institute of Professional Development (TX).

Presentations, awards, associations, and education

Mr. Fontaine is a member of the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning, the American Council on Education, the American Marketing Association, the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, and the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education.

He received a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Texas at Tyler, and a master’s in business management from LeTourneau University. He is also a CAEL certified career and academic advisor through Indiana University.
