Cecilia Castellano

Cecilia Castellano offers more than 20 years of experience in higher education administration. Her areas of expertise include enrollment management, admission, and recruitment of traditional, international, graduate, and transfer populations. She has extensive leadership experience in business operations, project management, financial aid leveraging, and scholarship management.

Ms. Castellano currently serves as the vice provost for strategic enrollment planning at Bowling Green State University (OH). She is responsible for the development of the enrollment management plan at the university, including plans for first-time, full-time freshmen, advanced high school programs, and transfer and international student populations. Ms. Castellano has oversight of more than $250 million dollars in federal, state, and institutional aid. She has led the strategy to reverse a declining enrollment trend at BGSU over the last three years, including implementation of territory management, robust communication plans, and strategic leveraging of financial and merit-based aid.

Previously, Ms. Castellano served in several roles in enrollment management, including director of admissions. In her previous roles, she led the business operations for both graduate and undergraduate admissions, as well as served as functional lead for campuswide student information system implementation, project management for two CRM deployments, and oversight of the systems team, which included programmers and web developers.


Ms. Castellano holds two master’s degrees and a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University.
